微软已悄然延长了在Windows 10上运行的Office应用的支持期，超出该操作系统2025年10月14日的支持结束日期。
微软365订阅用户将持续获得更新，直至2028年10月，而永久许可版本将遵循其标准生命周期政策——Office 2021支持至2026年10月，Office 2024支持至2029年10月。
此外，尽管Windows 10即将退役，Windows Defender的恶意软件定义也将继续支持“至少至2028年10月。
这一决定颠覆了微软之前的计划，即当Windows 10达到生命周期结束时，所有Office应用将不再得到支持。
